SOAR Build trainee recruitment continues

February 13, 2014

SOAR Build’s continuous trainee recruitment is all set to take on another three trainees in February. Initially there are to be two trainee tilers starting on Keepmoats, Doncaster St leger scheme, as part of a partnership working with Job centre plus. The scheme, Sector Based Work Acadamy, will allow up to twelve trainees each doing 6 weeks on the job training and at the end of the placements all twelve will be interviewed for a permenant position, if suitable. The next trainee will be on Keepmoats Leeds PFI scheme where interviews have already taken place and a candidate selected with a view to recruit further trainees once the work streams pick up. Following in the SOAR Build ethos all the trainees are locally based and unemployed. If sucessful the trainees will go on to gain at least NVQ level 2 standard, in their relevant trades. SOAR Build General Manager, Phil Wright said both schemes ideally lend themselves for the recruitment of trainees and apprentices due to the longevity of the contracts. Phil says opportunites like these are always arising in the areas where SOAR Build are working, so if anyone is is considering a career in the construction industry, live locally and are unemployed, why not send us an email giving us details about yourself and we will get back to you.
